St. Valentinos was Bishop of Interamna (Terni) in Italy in the third century, known for healing the sick. Tradition relates that his healing of a young man led to the conversion of several pagan youths, who were martyred with him.
He was beheaded at Rome and is commemorated on this day in the Orthodox calendar.

On the New Calendar, Valentinos of Interamna is commemorated on July 30. Churches on the Old (Julian) Calendar keep the feast on August 12 of the civil calendar.
