What is the difference between the Old and New Orthodox calendars?
Old Calendar churches keep the Julian calendar, which currently runs 13 days behind civil dates, so Christmas falls on January 7. New Calendar churches keep the Revised Julian calendar, which matches civil dates. The app switches between them in one tap. Read more
When is Orthodox Easter?
Pascha is the first Sunday after the first full moon on or after the spring equinox, reckoned on the Julian calendar. It falls on April 12 in 2026, May 2 in 2027 and April 16 in 2028. Read more
