Eupsychios was a young Christian of Caesarea in Cappadocia, newly married, when the emperor Julian the Apostate sought to restore pagan worship. With other Christians he took part in the destruction of a pagan temple in the city.

Eupsychios of Caesarea

St. Eupsychios was the son of a senator of Caesarea in Cappadocia who confessed Christ in the reign of Hadrian. He was tortured and imprisoned, and tradition relates that he was healed of his wounds in prison by an angel; brought again before the governor, he was put to death by the sword.
