Tradition relates that after Pentecost they left Judea with Lazarus and ended their lives in Cyprus.

  St. Martha was the mother of St. Simeon the Stylite of the Wonderful Mountain, the younger stylite, and lived in the region of Antioch. A woman of great humility and constant prayer, she raised her son in piety and later lived near his pillar, serving the poor and the sick who came to him.
