Domninus and companions

Holy Martyr Domninus and the Christian virgins martyred with him in Palestine.

Saint Domninus suffered in Palestine during the persecution of Maximian, when Urban was governor of the province. After many tortures he was burned alive.

The synaxarion records that a number of Christian virgins were martyred together with him.

Feast day

On the New Calendar, Domninus and companions is commemorated on November 5. Churches on the Old (Julian) Calendar keep the feast on November 18 of the civil calendar.
