Holy Martyr Gemellus of Paphlagonia, crucified under Julian the Apostate.
The holy martyr Gemellus was a Christian of Paphlagonia who openly rebuked the emperor Julian the Apostate at Ancyra. Tradition relates that he was tortured and finally crucified for Christ, ending his life on the cross like his Master.

On the New Calendar, Gemellus of Paphlagonia is commemorated on December 10. Churches on the Old (Julian) Calendar keep the feast on December 23 of the civil calendar.
