Malos the Hermit

Venerable Malos the Hermit, wonderworker.

Malos lived as a hermit in the wilderness, where he attained such purity of life that, tradition relates, he was given the grace of working miracles.

He reposed in peace and is honored among the venerable fathers.

Feast day

On the New Calendar, Malos the Hermit is commemorated on October 16. Churches on the Old (Julian) Calendar keep the feast on October 29 of the civil calendar.
