The Martyrs Maximos, Dadas and Quintilian suffered in Dorostolon in the region of the Danube during the persecution of Diocletian. Their principal feast is in April; on this day the Church remembers the finding of their relics.
The synaxaria record that they were beheaded after refusing to offer sacrifice to idols.
