Rheginos and Orestes of Cyprus

Holy Martyrs Rheginos and Orestes, who suffered in Cyprus.

Saints Rheginos and Orestes were martyred in Cyprus for their faith in Christ. Their relics were venerated at Phasoula near Limassol, where a church bears their names.

They are honoured among the saints of Cyprus.

Feast day

On the New Calendar, Rheginos and Orestes of Cyprus is commemorated on August 20. Churches on the Old (Julian) Calendar keep the feast on September 2 of the civil calendar.
