Holy New Martyr Theocharis of Neapolis in Cappadocia.
Saint Theocharis was a young Greek of Neapolis in Cappadocia, an orphan raised in piety. Seized by the Ottomans and pressed to convert, he refused steadfastly and was put to death in the eighteenth century.
He is honoured especially by the Cappadocian Greeks and by those who bear his name.
