Stratonikos and Mardonios

Holy Martyrs Stratonikos and Mardonios.

The holy martyrs Stratonikos and Mardonios confessed Christ in the time of the persecutions; tradition relates that Stratonikos was beheaded and Mardonios burned.

They are commemorated on September 30.

Feast day

On the New Calendar, Stratonikos and Mardonios is commemorated on September 30. Churches on the Old (Julian) Calendar keep the feast on October 13 of the civil calendar.
