Monk-Martyrs Synesios, Benedict and Timothy, monastics put to death in Thessaloniki.
The synaxaria of Thessaloniki commemorate the monks Synesios, Benedict and Timothy as New Martyrs who were put to death in that city during the Turkish period for their confession of Christ. Together with the monk Paul of Ioannina they are honoured on this day.
