Theokletos of Lacedaemonia

Theokletos the Wonderworker, Archbishop of Lacedaemonia (Sparta).

Theokletos was Archbishop of Lacedaemonia in the Peloponnese, remembered by the Church as a wonderworker. Tradition places him in the Byzantine period and relates that he shepherded the people of the region of Sparta with pastoral zeal, working miracles both in his lifetime and after his repose. He is honoured as a patron of the Church of Sparta and Monemvasia.
