Timothy, Agapios and Thekla

Holy Martyrs Timothy, Agapios and Thekla of Palestine.

Saints Timothy, Agapios and Thekla suffered at Gaza and Caesarea in Palestine during the persecution of Diocletian. Timothy was burned, while Agapios and Thekla were thrown to wild beasts.

They are commemorated together on this day.

Feast day

On the New Calendar, Timothy, Agapios and Thekla is commemorated on August 19. Churches on the Old (Julian) Calendar keep the feast on September 1 of the civil calendar.
