Anastasios of Jerusalem

St. Anastasios, Patriarch of Jerusalem.

St. Anastasios was Patriarch of Jerusalem in the fifth century and is honoured among the holy hierarchs of the Holy City. He governed the Church of Jerusalem in a time of doctrinal turmoil and reposed in peace.

Feast day

On the New Calendar, Anastasios of Jerusalem is commemorated on February 10. Churches on the Old (Julian) Calendar keep the feast on February 23 of the civil calendar.
