Benjamin and Berios

Holy Martyrs Benjamin and Berios.

Sts. Benjamin and Berios are commemorated together as martyrs who confessed Christ during the persecutions of the early Church. Tradition relates that they died by the sword.

Their names are preserved in the Synaxarion.

Feast day

On the New Calendar, Benjamin and Berios is commemorated on July 29. Churches on the Old (Julian) Calendar keep the feast on August 11 of the civil calendar.
