Holy New Martyrs Christodoulos and Anastasia, and those with them, who suffered in the Peloponnese.
Christodoulos and Anastasia are honoured with a company of Christians who were put to death by the Turks in the Peloponnese at the outbreak of the Greek revolution in 1821, refusing to deny their faith.
They are numbered among the new martyrs of Achaia.
Feast day
On the New Calendar, Christodoulos and Anastasia of Achaia is commemorated on April 14. Churches on the Old (Julian) Calendar keep the feast on April 27 of the civil calendar.
