Saint Galaction, tradition relates, was drowned for his confession of Christ, while Saint Juliana and her son Saturninus were burned. The synaxaria commemorate them together as martyrs of Constantinople.

On the New Calendar, Galaction, Juliana and Saturninus is commemorated on June 22. Churches on the Old (Julian) Calendar keep the feast on July 5 of the civil calendar.
