Holy Martyr Hesychios of Antioch, a senior official drowned in the Orontes for his faith.
Hesychios was a high-ranking official in Antioch in the reign of Maximian Galerius. When Christians were ordered to leave the imperial service, he willingly laid aside his rank, and when he refused to sacrifice he was thrown into the river Orontes with a millstone about his neck.
He is commemorated on May 10.
