Kastor the Martyr

Holy Martyr Kastor of Alexandria.

St. Kastor was a Christian of Alexandria who confessed Christ in the time of the persecutions and, tradition relates, was put to death by torments together with the holy women Sophia and Irene.

He is commemorated on September 18.
