Holy Martyrs Kerykos, a child of three years, and his mother Julitta of Iconium.
St. Julitta was a noblewoman of Iconium who fled the persecution of Diocletian with her three-year-old son Kerykos. Arrested in Tarsus, she confessed Christ before the governor; the child, held on the governor's knee, cried out that he too was a Christian and was thrown down the steps to his death.
Julitta rejoiced that her son had gone before her and was herself beheaded. Mother and child are honored together, and many churches in Greece bear their names.

On the New Calendar, Kerykos and Julitta is commemorated on July 15. Churches on the Old (Julian) Calendar keep the feast on July 28 of the civil calendar.
