Luke of Triglia

Venerable Luke of Triglia in Bithynia.

Venerable Luke was a monk and abbot of Triglia on the coast of Bithynia. The Synaxarion records that he laboured in asceticism and reposed in peace.

On the New Calendar, Luke of Triglia is commemorated on December 27. Churches on the Old (Julian) Calendar keep the feast on January 9 of the civil calendar.
