Blessed Nicholas Kochanov, Fool for Christ of Novgorod.
St. Nicholas Kochanov was born to a wealthy family of Novgorod and took up the ascetic life of a fool for Christ, enduring mockery for the Lord's sake. Tradition relates that he and the fool Theodore feigned quarrels across the river to shame the feuding citizens.
He reposed in 1392 and is honored as a wonderworker.
