Oikoumenios of Trikka

Saint Oikoumenios the Wonderworker, Bishop of Trikka in Thessaly.

Oikoumenios was bishop of Trikka (modern Trikala) in Thessaly, traditionally placed around the tenth century. He was a learned interpreter of Scripture, and commentaries on the Apocalypse and the Epistles have circulated under his name.

He is venerated as a wonderworker and remains a patron of the city of Trikala.
