Philon of Karpasia

St. Philon the Wonderworker, Bishop of Karpasia in Cyprus.

St. Philon was a deacon whom St. Epiphanios of Cyprus ordained Bishop of Karpasia in the fourth century. He was granted the gift of miracles and wrote a commentary on the Song of Songs.

He reposed in peace and is commemorated on January 24.
