Zenobios of Florence

Saint Zenobios, Bishop of Florence, friend of Saint Ambrose.

Zenobios was born in Florence to a noble family and was brought to Christ by his teacher. Ordained by the bishop of Florence, he became a friend of Saint Ambrose of Milan and later Bishop of Florence himself.

He was renowned for wonders in his lifetime and reposed in the early fifth century.
