Agathodoros the Martyr

Holy Martyr Agathodoros, who completed his contest by the sword.

St. Agathodoros is commemorated among the martyrs of the early Church. The Synaxaria relate only that he confessed Christ and was slain, receiving the crown of martyrdom.

Feast day

On the New Calendar, Agathodoros the Martyr is commemorated on February 2. Churches on the Old (Julian) Calendar keep the feast on February 15 of the civil calendar.
