St. Anatolios, Patriarch of Constantinople, who presided at the Fourth Ecumenical Council.
St. Anatolios was born in Alexandria and served as Patriarch of Constantinople in the fifth century. He took part in the Fourth Ecumenical Council at Chalcedon, which confirmed the Orthodox teaching on the two natures of Christ.
He is also remembered as a hymnographer, and reposed in peace after governing the Church of Constantinople with wisdom.
