Theodotos, Theodote and those with them

Holy Martyrs Theodotos, Theodote, Golinduch, Diomedes, Eulampios and Asklepiades.

Sts. Theodotos and Theodote, together with Golinduch, Diomedes, Eulampios and Asklepiades, are commemorated as a company of martyrs who confessed Christ during the persecutions of the early Church. Tradition relates that they suffered in Caesarea of Cappadocia.

Refusing to sacrifice to idols, they endured tortures and received the crown of martyrdom together.

Feast day

On the New Calendar, Theodotos, Theodote and those with them is commemorated on July 3. Churches on the Old (Julian) Calendar keep the feast on July 16 of the civil calendar.
