Archelaos and 152 Martyrs

Holy Martyr Archelaos and the 152 martyrs with him.

St. Archelaos and the one hundred fifty-two martyrs with him are commemorated in the Greek synaxaria for March 5. Tradition relates that they confessed Christ together and were put to the sword.

Nothing further of their lives has been preserved, but the Church honors the whole company on this day.
