Caesarius, Dasius and companions

Holy Martyrs Caesarius, Dasius, Sabbas, Sabinianus, Agrippa, Adrian and Thomas, who suffered at Damascus.

The seven holy martyrs Caesarius, Dasius, Sabbas, Sabinianus, Agrippa, Adrian and Thomas suffered for Christ at Damascus. The synaxarion records that they were beheaded after confessing their faith.

Little else is preserved about their lives, but their names have been kept in the Church's calendar as a group of confessors who died together.

Feast day

On the New Calendar, Caesarius, Dasius and companions is commemorated on November 1. Churches on the Old (Julian) Calendar keep the feast on November 14 of the civil calendar.
