Chrestos of Preveza

Holy New Martyr Chrestos of Preveza, who suffered at Constantinople.

Saint Chrestos was a young Greek from Preveza in Epirus who worked in Constantinople. Accused before the Ottoman authorities, he refused to deny Christ and was put to death in the eighteenth century.

He is counted among the New Martyrs of the Turkish yoke.
