Dasios and Maron

Holy Martyrs Dasios and Maron.

Sts. Dasios and Maron are commemorated together as martyrs who confessed Christ during the persecutions of the early Church. Tradition relates that they died by the sword.

Their names are preserved in the Synaxarion.

Feast day

On the New Calendar, Dasios and Maron is commemorated on July 18. Churches on the Old (Julian) Calendar keep the feast on July 31 of the civil calendar.
