Eugenios the Martyr

Holy Martyr Eugenios.

St. Eugenios is commemorated as a martyr who confessed Christ during the persecutions. Tradition relates that he died by the sword.

His name is kept in the Synaxarion among the martyrs of this day.

On the New Calendar, Eugenios the Martyr is commemorated on July 21. Churches on the Old (Julian) Calendar keep the feast on August 3 of the civil calendar.
