Venerable Onouphrios the Silent of the Kiev Caves.
St. Onouphrios the Silent was a monk of the Kiev Caves who took upon himself the ascetic labor of silence, speaking with no one and giving himself wholly to prayer.
He reposed in peace, and his relics rest in the Near Caves.

On the New Calendar, Onouphrios the Silent is commemorated on July 21. Churches on the Old (Julian) Calendar keep the feast on August 3 of the civil calendar.
