Ierousalem the Martyr

Holy Martyr Ierousalem of Berroia.

St. Ierousalem was a Christian woman of Berroia in Macedonia who, tradition relates, was martyred together with her children for her confession of Christ.

She is honored as a martyr of the early Church in Berroia.

On the New Calendar, Ierousalem the Martyr is commemorated on July 26. Churches on the Old (Julian) Calendar keep the feast on August 8 of the civil calendar.
