John the Cave-dweller of Cyprus

Venerable John the Cave-dweller of Sia in Cyprus.

St. John the Cave-dweller lived as a hermit in a cave near the village of Sia in Cyprus, in prayer and asceticism, and reposed in peace. A church at the site keeps his memory.

He is commemorated on September 26.
