Holy Martyrs Julian the Presbyter and Caesarius the Deacon, who suffered at Terracina in Italy.
Caesarius, a deacon from Africa, came to Terracina and openly rebuked the pagan custom of casting a youth from a cliff in honor of Apollo. With the priest Julian he was imprisoned and tortured.
Both were sewn into a sack and thrown into the sea, receiving the crown of martyrdom in the first or early second century.

On the New Calendar, Julian and Caesarius of Terracina is commemorated on October 7. Churches on the Old (Julian) Calendar keep the feast on October 20 of the civil calendar.
