Holy Martyr Leontios the Consul, who gave up his soul in confession of Christ.
Leontios held consular rank and was a Christian. Tradition relates that he confessed Christ openly and distributed his goods to the poor before his death.
The Synaxarion honors him among the martyrs of this day, though the details of his sufferings are not preserved.
