Marios of Sebaste

Saint Marios, Bishop of Sebaste.

St. Marios was a bishop of Sebaste in Armenia whose name is preserved in the Greek synaxaria for March 13. Tradition relates that he governed his flock in holiness and reposed in peace.

The Church keeps his memory on this day.

On the New Calendar, Marios of Sebaste is commemorated on March 13. Churches on the Old (Julian) Calendar keep the feast on March 26 of the civil calendar.
