Menignus the Fuller

Holy Martyr Menignus the Fuller of Parium.

Saint Menignus was a fuller of Parium on the Hellespont during the persecution of Decius. Tradition relates that he tore up an imperial edict against the Christians and openly confessed Christ.

After tortures he was beheaded.

Feast day

On the New Calendar, Menignus the Fuller is commemorated on November 22. Churches on the Old (Julian) Calendar keep the feast on December 5 of the civil calendar.
