Venerable Pancratios the Recluse, hieromonk of the Kiev Caves.
St. Pancratios was a hieromonk of the Far Caves of the Kiev Caves Lavra who lived in seclusion. He healed the sick by fasting, prayer and anointing with holy oil.
He reposed in the thirteenth century and his relics rest in the Far Caves.
Feast day
On the New Calendar, Pancratios of the Kiev Caves is commemorated on February 9. Churches on the Old (Julian) Calendar keep the feast on February 22 of the civil calendar.
