Peter Apselamos

Holy Martyr Peter Apselamos of Palestine, burned for Christ.

St. Peter Apselamos was a young man from the region of Eleutheropolis in Palestine. During the persecution of the early fourth century he refused to sacrifice to the idols before the governor at Caesarea and was burned alive.

He is commemorated on January 12.
