St. Sava II, Archbishop of Serbia, nephew of St. Sava.
St. Sava II was born Predislav, son of King Stefan the First-Crowned and nephew of St. Sava of Serbia. Following his uncle's example he became a monk on Mount Athos and made a pilgrimage to the Holy Land.
He was chosen Archbishop of Serbia in the thirteenth century and governed the Church with humility and zeal, reposing in peace.
