Sisinios of Cyzicus

Saint Sisinios the Confessor, Bishop of Cyzicus.

Saint Sisinios was Bishop of Cyzicus who suffered for the faith during the persecution of Diocletian. Tradition relates that he was tortured and confessed Christ, and after the peace of the Church reposed in his see.

He is honoured as a confessor.

Feast day

On the New Calendar, Sisinios of Cyzicus is commemorated on November 23. Churches on the Old (Julian) Calendar keep the feast on December 6 of the civil calendar.
