Synaxis of All Saints of Georgia

Synaxis of all the Saints who have shone forth in the land of Georgia.

On this day the Church of Georgia gathers in one commemoration all the saints of its land, from St. Nina, Equal to the Apostles, and the early martyrs to the monastic fathers and the confessors of later centuries. The synaxis is also kept in the Greek calendar.

Feast day

On the New Calendar, Synaxis of All Saints of Georgia is commemorated on December 11. Churches on the Old (Julian) Calendar keep the feast on December 24 of the civil calendar.
