Synaxis of the Saints of Rhodes

Synaxis of all the saints of the island of Rhodes.

On this day the Church of Rhodes gathers in one commemoration all the saints connected with the island, from the early martyrs and bishops through the New Martyrs of the Ottoman period.

The synaxis was established in recent years by the local metropolis and is kept on March 22.

Feast day

On the New Calendar, Synaxis of the Saints of Rhodes is commemorated on March 22. Churches on the Old (Julian) Calendar keep the feast on April 4 of the civil calendar.
