Hieromartyr Theodore, Bishop of Cyrene in Libya.
St. Theodore was Bishop of Cyrene in Libya during the persecution of Diocletian. A skilled copyist of the Scriptures, he was denounced to the governor and tortured for his faith.
Tradition relates that his sufferings led others, including the women Kyprilla, Aroa and Lucia, to confess Christ, and that he reposed from his wounds.
