Righteous Theodore, Fool-for-Christ.

St. Theodore took up the ascetic path of foolishness for Christ's sake, hiding his virtue under the appearance of madness and enduring mockery for the Lord. He reposed in peace.

Feast day

On the New Calendar, Theodore the Fool-for-Christ is commemorated on February 25. Churches on the Old (Julian) Calendar keep the feast on March 10 (a day earlier in leap years) of the civil calendar.
