Theodoulos son of Nilus

Venerable Theodoulos, son of St. Nilus of Sinai.

St. Theodoulos was the son of St. Nilus the Ascetic. Living with his father among the monks of Sinai, he was carried off in a barbarian raid and later ransomed; tradition relates that he was afterwards ordained and lived in asceticism with his father.

He is commemorated on January 14.
